New 2019 Audi A6 2.0 TFSI Makes the Midsize Luxury Sedan More Accessible

By Justin Cupler | July 5th, 2019

The 2019 Audi A6 already offers great value in the midsize luxury sedan segment, but the German automaker looks to expand its affordability with a new, value-oriented version.

The current A6 is only available with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine, but this midsize luxury sedan will soon gain a new 2.0-liter turbocharged variant. This new engine option will push 248 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque through a standard seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive for a 6.1-second 0-to-60 time.

Though this is a more budget-oriented luxury sedan, it is far from bare bones. The A6 2.0 TFSI will come standard with LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, high-beam assist, lane-departure warning, MMI navigation, Audi smartphone interface, MMI touch response system, tri-zone climate control, eight-way power front seats with heat, leather upholstery with contrast stitching, and more.

Options will include a heated steering wheel, four-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, Audi virtual cockpit, adaptive cruise, blind-zone monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, 20-inch wheels, and tons more.

The 2019 Audi A6 2.0 TFSI will start from $54,100 for its base Premium trim and $57,800 in the Premium Plus trim (plus a $995 destination charge, taxes, options, and other fees). That makes its starting price $4,800 lower than the current base model.

The 2019 Audi A6 2.0 TFSI will hit the Garber Rochester showroom serving the Pittsford and Fairport areas soon.
