2020 Audi A7 Gets More Standard Safety Equipment and New Options

By Justin Cupler | September 6th, 2019

The Audi A7 went through a full redesign in 2019, but Audi wasn’t happy letting this new five-door coupe carry over with no changes. Instead, Audi will add a handful of new standard features and shuffled around a few other options.

The 2020 Audi A7 will continue with its single 55 TFSI model with three trims: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. The base Premium trim will gain a few new standard safety features, including lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, a vehicle immobilizer, and an anti-theft system with motion detection. This base model will also gain standard auto-dimming and power-folding mirrors.

Buyers looking to add to the luxury in the Premium trim can opt for the Convenience package, which will gain a heated steering wheel in 2020.

The midrange Premium Plus trim will see a few new standard features too, including the Audi virtual cockpit and a heated steering wheel.

Topping the 2020 A7 range will be the Prestige trim, which will gain standard heated rear seats and a driver-assistance package that will add adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, active lane departure with emergency assist, intersection assist, and heated rear seats.

Audi hasn’t announced when the 2020 Audi A7 will arrive here at Audi of Rochester serving the Rochester, Pittsford, and Fairport areas. Pricing will range from $69,000 to $79,700.
